Thomas Ridgway

Thomas Ridgway is a Funding Associate at Big Think Capital, where he combines his strong background in business management with a client-first approach to help entrepreneurs access the capital they need to grow. Based in New York City, Thomas is dedicated to guiding businesses through the funding process with professionalism, clarity, and tailored financial solutions designed to meet both immediate needs and long-term goals. 

A proud graduate of the University of Richmond, Thomas earned his degree in Business while also pursuing a minor in Journalism, reflecting his interest in both strategic thinking and effective communication. Early in his career, he entered the wealth management field, where he sharpened his financial acumen and achieved his FINRA Series 7 certification. These experiences provided him with a strong foundation in client relationship management, analytical problem-solving, and financial strategy—skills he now leverages to deliver impactful results at Big Think Capital. 

Thomas is known for his integrity, responsiveness, and commitment to ensuring clients feel supported every step of the way. He believes in building strong relationships that extend beyond transactions, serving as a trusted partner for businesses seeking growth. 

Outside of work, Thomas enjoys following his favorite teams—the Washington Capitals and Washington Commanders—and exploring his passion for American history.
